CareConnect AI — Terms of Service

1. What CareConnect AI Is

CareConnect AI is a mobile reminder tool that helps individuals manage medications, appointments, and daily care tasks. Users can receive reminders and optionally allow a caregiver to view adherence status.

2. Not Medical Advice

CareConnect AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace professional medical care or instructions from a clinician.

In emergencies, contact 999 immediately. Do not rely on this app for emergency communication.

3. No Guarantee of Delivery

We aim to deliver reminders reliably, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Reminders may be delayed or fail due to factors outside our control (e.g., internet connectivity, device settings, notification permissions, third-party services).

CareConnect AI and its operator are not liable for missed doses, missed appointments, or any consequences arising from reminder failures. Users and caregivers remain responsible for medication and appointment management.

4. Your Account and Data

You are responsible for entering accurate medication, appointment, and contact information.

Do not share your login credentials with anyone outside your care circle.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Some features require a paid CareConnect Family subscription (currently: multiple linked caregivers and the Assistant tool).

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by law.

6. Beta Features

Features labelled “Beta” (including the Assistant) are experimental and may not always behave as expected.

Please double-check any medication changes made through Beta features and report issues to us.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use CareConnect AI for anyone without their consent (or the consent of their legal representative).

You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.

8. Changes to the Service

We may update these terms or modify app features as the product evolves.

Users will be notified of material changes.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
